The brand book. How Zugaz looks, sounds and moves: bold, bright, kinetic, and always on your side.
Zugaz is Basque for ‘with you’, and that is the promise: a tool that works beside your team instead of making more work. The mark is a prism: a single sign-in enters, and fans out into every board, Gantt, calendar and dashboard a company runs. White light in, a full spectrum of clarity out.
Everywhere the brand appears it should feel like that prism: one clean idea, bright colour, a little motion, never cluttered.
The mark is a prism refracting a single ray into violet, coral and cyan. Pair it with the wordmark set in Space Grotesk. Give it room: clear space of at least the height of the triangle on every side. Never recolour the wordmark into a rainbow, never stretch, rotate or add a drop shadow, and never box it on a busy photo. On dark, the mark keeps its gradient; the wordmark goes white.
Ink anchors everything. Violet leads, with indigo, blue and cyan as the refraction. Lime and coral are the fun, used in small, confident doses for tags, highlights and moments of energy, never as backgrounds.
Display is Space Grotesk, set big and tight, often with the key phrase in the prism gradient. Body is Inter: plain, readable, confident. Headlines land in one or two short lines. Never set long paragraphs in the display face.
Icons are a single custom set: geometric, two-pixel stroke, rounded joins, sitting in a prism chip. No emoji. No stock clipart. If an icon is needed and isn’t in the set, it’s drawn to match.
Big gradient blocks and soft, blurred blobs give depth and motion. Use them generously as backdrops, sparingly over text.
Real product surfaces (boards, tags, people) shown as clean cards that gently drift. Honest glimpses of the app, not fake screenshots.
Lime and coral tags, rounded and confident, mark energy and status. One or two per view, never a whole wall.
Motion is subtle and purposeful: a slow gradient drift, a card that bobs, a hover that lifts. Everything respects reduced-motion and holds still when asked.
Zugaz talks like a sharp teammate: short lines, real words, a little wit, no jargon and no hype. It backs itself without boasting, and it always sounds like it’s on your side.
